Let's start off with King Duncan's a**a**ination
Took a dagger to the face and
Macbeth got blood on his hands
Yeah, he killed the king even though he was his right hand man

He was close to the king so he had to die
Because death means so much more with emotional ties
By killing off a character who's oh-so-close
Macbeth's sanity took a pretty hefty blow

Guilt in his head
And it won't get out
Moving on to the second case, we got Banquo
Six feet under in his grave
Banquo's death serves to demonstrate
How Macbeth is beginning to take the reins

His fighting for the crown has only amplified
He feels rejoice when Banquo has died
But Macbeth is getting sloppy with his execution
Before he's even accused the paranoia sinks in

Then everything goes quiet
Lady Macbeth is dead
There's quiet in the distance
But what does that mean for Macbeth's character development?

It all seems so pointless to him
And now it's his time to go

He's surprisingly subdued
After months and months of stressing
He accepts this is his ending

Duncan struck the match
Banquo set his guilt aflame
Lady Macbeth was water
Dousing his ambition all the same
